The MOBILE-GEDDON will hit on April 21st! How will you fight it?

Once again the webmasters are about to lose their precious sleep of night as Google is all the way to do that with the upcoming –Mobile Algorithm!!! Yes you read it right. This time they are going to make it deadlier than the search ranking destructions done by Google Panda and Google Penguin according to some sources. According to Search Engine Land- Zenib, one Webmaster Team Professional of Google declared about the upcoming update in the SMX Munich last year.

What’s the aftermath? How it is going to hit? Will my website exist in the search engines? What to do to survive the mobilegeddon?—are some of the most searched FAQs now as webmasters are predicting the update to be fatal once more.

How you can take the measures to survive the whiplash of the “mobilegeddon”—perfectly named by some scholar!

1.       First of all ask yourself- “Is your website mobile friendly?” If not you may not survive the mobilegeddon.
2.       Take a chance and try making your website or websites completely responsive in this last 24 hours left for the mobile-calypse to pound upon. Responsive web-design will make your website fit into any screen size. That is loved by both desktop users and mobile or tablet users.

3.       Make sure that the site is stuffed with excellent videos, images, infographic and quality as well as helpful content that will serve the purpose of the users.

Few years from now are predicted to be the years of smartphone. Google is aiming to make the user experience and searching at its best. Once Matt Cutts in one of his videos mentioned– instead of thinking about search engine optimization you can think of search experience optimization. Hence, Google is trying hard to create the best search results for the smartphone generation.

Now, I believe the SEO professionals from Columbia to Namibia are working their best to offer out-of-the-box UX and UI even in this short span of time and wishing for a miracle to win over the latest mobile update that will literally change the search results once again. Let’s hope for the best. Let the responsive or mobile friendly websites do their best in the mobile search resultsafter the update, while on the other hand let the desktop friendly – static websites also survive this mobilegeddon.
